| This bathroom is obviously in a very similar style to the luxury bathroom in the same property.
The shower tray is a little larger but everything else is much the same, with one rather large exception.
This bathroom has no natural light.
It also has a solid concrete ceiling, and therefore the installation of modern spot lights would have been impossible without building a new suspended ceiling which would have been low and oppressive.
We therefore had no choice but to install lots of wall lights.
Another challenge was the flush mounted shower head. Not a problem to install if you have a conventional home with a loft. The ceiling here is made from reinforced concrete, and we had to chase/drill into this with diamond coated blades.
The whole configuration of the room was altered, as you can see from the original ‘before photo’. The room no longer has a bath installed, but this was at the clients request, as he preferred showering.
The installation boasts a range of body jets, as well as the extra large shower head, powered by a high pressure, Unvented cylinder.
The room also has under floor heating, chased pipework, and we installed a towel rail (after converting it to run with an electrical element).
All in all a small, but perfectly formed room.
